Product Materials

This product features a 2 x 2 inch Carrara marble tile with a GTK® engraved QR Tile seated directly within the stone. The QR Tile is an engraved ABS marker with a gold metallic finish and triple-glaze acrylic coating, giving it a crisp, plaque-like appearance while allowing the marble to remain the primary visual and material presence.

Also included is a GTK® QR Card, a keepsake-quality plastic card made from material similar to that used for many state-issued ID cards. Conveniently sized to fit in wallets, phone cases, and similar everyday holders, it makes it easy to access and share your page on the go.

Each pack also includes a 5 x 7 GTK® Registration Certificate printed on sturdy card stock, with space to record the name of the Remembered. We recommend keeping it with your important documents, as it can help us verify ownership and assist with page recovery if you ever lose access to your page.

Installation Guide

This 2 x 2 inch marble tile is designed for installation on headstones, grave markers, and similar stone memorial surfaces using a suitable exterior stone-to-stone construction adhesive. Because memorial surfaces and conditions can vary, adhesive should be selected separately according to the specific installation.

For best results, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of loose dust, debris, or residue before applying adhesive. Always follow the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions carefully, including any guidance on curing time, temperature, surface preparation, and outdoor use.

If you intend to use the tile indoors, or attach it to a surface other than stone, be sure to choose an adhesive appropriate for both the tile and the installation surface. Different materials and finishes may require different products or preparation methods.

We recommend ordering adhesive ahead of time so it arrives before or at the same time as your tile. A suitable product can also usually be found at a local hardware or home improvement store. If you are unsure which adhesive or method is best for your installation, please email ahand@gtk.us with a brief description of your surface and environment, and our team will do its best to help research an appropriate option.

Care & Warranty

Care
This product is intended for outdoor memorial use. As with any natural stone product, some variation in color, pattern, texture, and minor surface characteristics is normal and should be expected. Over time, normal weathering and wear may also occur as part of outdoor use. To clean, use a soft cloth or sponge with water or a mild soap if needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, and rough scrubbing.

Please inspect your tile upon arrival and contact makeitright@gtk.us promptly if you believe it has arrived damaged or in any way defective.

Warranty
GTK® warrants this product for life against defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use. This warranty does not apply to normal variation in the marble, ordinary weathering, or wear consistent with outdoor memorial use.

As many families choose to clean, restore, or renew memorials over time, GTK® can also craft and ship a renewed QR Tile should yours ever require it, for a small crafting, shipping, and handling charge as applicable at the time of renewal.
